Yesterday I posted a recipe on how to make your own Homemade Chocolate Hazelnut Spread, so now you can slather the chocolatey goodness onto whatever your heart desires. You could make a double batch, so you have some to giveaway to a friend…if you can bare to part with it….or you could make a double batch, invite your friend over, hand her a large spoon, and enjoy the creamy chocolate spread by the spoonfuls together…while watching Austinland (if you haven’t seen it – go rent it asap – hilarious!) in your pajamas.
Now… if you happen to have any of that Homemade Chocolate Hazelnut Spread leftover from your girls night. I have a delicious and easy Flourless Chocolate Hazelnut Cake recipe to share with you. It’s a lighter flourless cake (most flourless cakes are pretty dense), with the perfect hint of hazelnut. Don’t you think hazelnut and chocolate were a match made in heaven – I sure do. Anyways, back to the cake. It is light enough that you won’t feel weighed down for the next two hours after eating it, but decadent enough to serve at a dinner party. Plus, it is made with 5 wholesome ingredients – no processed foods here, and comes together quick and easy, and is insanely delicious!

- 1/2 tsp baking soda
